June Luncheon Recap: Food Trucks

On Thursday, June 15, 2017, BOMA Idaho held its June general membership luncheon featuring a panel discussion of the food truck industry.

Panelists included Max Clark, Parking & Facilities Director at CCDC; Andrew Haworth, License Enforcement Specialist at the City of Boise; Sid Gauby, President of the Southern Idaho Food Truck Association (SIFTA) and Slow River Coffee food truck owner; and Brian Garrett, owner of the St. Lawrence Gridiron restaurant.

The panelists described current city and CCDC rules for food trucks, the licensing process, food truck business challenges and the path from a food truck to a restaurant.
