October’s luncheon will be a forum of the 2016 ACHD Commission candidates.

2016 ACHD Commission Election
Three Commission seats will appear on the November 8th ballot — Districts 1, 2 and 5. District 1 covers much of southeast Boise, south of downtown and east of Cole Road. District 2 takes in the middle of Ada County, roughly between Ustick Road and Interstate 84 and Linder Road and the Boise River. District 5 covers a portion of northwest Ada, from Glenwood to Can-Ada Road and between the river and Ustick Road and the interstate.
As of the August 10, 2016 filing deadline, District 1 Commissioner Jim Hansen drew no opposition; District 2 Commissioner Rebecca Arnold will be challenged by David Eberle, and District 5 Commissioner Sara Baker will face Rick Just and Mike Tracy.

The forum will open with each candidate giving a brief statement regarding their candidacy. Following the statements, a question and answer session will follow during which the candidates will be asked questions from the moderator and the audience.
